He was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He did not have standard education, but learned and acquired skills by direct listening, and later studied books written by contemporary world guitarists. "Divlje Jagode" (great ex-Yugoslavia bend) and their guitarist Zele Lipovaca had the greatest influence on his work.  Apart from detailed study of Zele Lipovaca’s work, he also learned from the greatest guitarists of our age - Joe Satriani. He learned listening to their albums, watching videos from their concerts and playing their music, so they have the most credit for his development. Fascinating band for him was Pink Floyd (guitarist David Gilmour ) that brings new dimensions in approach to music by making incredible psychedelic situations with strong guitar parts.

In 2000, he entered the bend ZP together with Josip M (now a priest). That band was spiritually orientated and they arranged the music of many world famous musicians, such as: Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Joe Satriani, Divlje Jagode, Atomsko Skloniste. In 2001, Mario made music for composition Molitva (Prayer) to participate the festival in 2002. Since his colleague Josip left to study, the band stopped working. Mario spent his time studying exceptional musicians and played with some bands from neighboring towns. In 2003 he established band Concept , which is active ever since. The band Concept had several hundred gigs all around BiH, motorbike shows, humanitarian concerts, festivals, session presentations, and as a foreband to Divlje Jagode (HR-BiH), Psihomodo Pop (HR), Vrane , Trio Band, Crno Perje (svi iz HR), Razvaline (SLO), Kaktus Jack (Yu-Bg), etc. While playing with The Concept, he also established the band of spiritual and sacral music VIS Pacs Angelus, together with colleagues from The Concept. That band also has great success in performances in BiH and their own work.

Although Mario has been busy working with different bands, on different projects or independently, he still found time to make instrumentals. His dream of making a band came true, but the dream of making his own instrumental album still waits to be fulfilled. But it is certain that it will come true very soon.
