Ibanez JPM100P1
Fender Strat
Oprema PDF Print E-mail

Throughout the period I am in music, I used different equipment and I will mention some of it.

Guitars

The first guitars I should mention are models Gibson Les Paul and Fender Stratocaster. In 2000, I experimented with Kramer guitars, and later with many other prominent guitar models. However, since the Concept was established, I started to use guitars made by Japanese company Ibanez. Model I should mention here is of Ibanez series RG550 - "Desert Yellow Sun" and Ibanez Jem 7 BSB (2005 – 2006). Ibanez series RG550 is specially set model (from the guitarist of the band Alarm, Jamin Mag) with DiMarzio Super Distortion lo-pro-edge & top-lock. Today I use 12-string acoustic guitar Luxor (Japan) and signature model Ibanez "John Petrucci" JPM100P . Model JMP has been made on a platform of RG series. The sound that is a product of two DiMarzio hum backer pickups is more than great. DiMarzio Air Norton on the neck position and Steve's Special on the bridge position, lo-pro-edge, top-lock and specially designed switch in three positions, and also special graphics on the body of the guitar. All of this makes the model Ibanez John Petrucci special in the guitar world. The neck is made of rosewood (the neck is thicker than platform RG models), and the body is made of basswood. Ibanez John Petrucci JPM100P is a limited edition and I registered my model of Ibaneza John Petrucci JPM100P1 on the website www.jpmsite.com

AMPLIFIERS

In 1997, I purchased my first Marshall in combo design with 1x10. Today I use Mega/Boogie model Studio 22 plus, with 1x12 Black Shadow Vintage loudspeaker. Preamplifier is: five lamps 12AX7 Mesa/Boogie, and amplifier is: 2 lamps EL-84 Mesa/Boogie. The sound is impeccable. Drive is full, strong and exactly the way I want. On my gigs, I bug with microphones, without any connections on line out.

EFFECTS AND PEDALS

I used different models of guitar processors: Zoom, Korg, Boss. The latest was guitar processor Boss GT-6 and then I stopped using them. After that, I’ve had a new approach by using pedals of the single type. I use the pedal board Boss BCB-60 with the following Boss pedals: Digital Reverb/Delay RV-3, Super Chorus CH-1, Over Drive/Distortion OS-2, Distortion DS-1, Mega Distortion MD-1, Metal Zone MZ-2, Power Driver PW-2, Super Phaser PH-2 i Acoustic Simulator AC-3. Dunlop "Crybaby" is obligatory part of equipment, as well as Mesa/Boogie which is a part of Mesa/Boogie amplifier.

EXTRAS

Slide tube is Dunlop, and guitar picks are 1 mm thick, made by Ibanez. My pedal setup is packed in Boss pedal board BCB-60. Guitar case is made by Ibanez, and the guitar belt is quick release model.
